Resitting IGCSE exam, not sure if results will be received in time

Hello,

I am sitting my A level composite exams in October November 2023, and will also be applying to medical schools via UCAS when the september applications open.

I am also considering retaking my IGCSE math exam in October November along with my A levels and bumping my grade up from a C to at least a B, however my result will be received sometime in mid January, so I would like to know how I'd go about applying and submitting my IGCSE grade to UCAS even though I haven't got my result yet

You list the subject twice on your application. Once with the original grade and a second instance as pending. The result should be available via UCAS, but if not for any reason, you'll just get a conditional offer asking you to provide evidence of the improved grade.

Most candidates apply with predicted AL grades and provide results of them in August, so it's not too different from that tbh.
