I’d advise you to send emails to your local shops/supermarkets asking this. Maybe make an account on Indeed and make a basic CV so you’re ready for applying!

What supermarket ,restaurant or shops are hiring 16 year old this April
Most shops, supermarkets, fast food places, cafes, restaurants, cinemas, local attractions, touristy type places etc will take people on from 16. Some though (especially the big names) wont take you on until you finish school (i.e. the end of june in year 11).
