It depends on the course, how competitive it is and which A level you dropped the grade in (and how important it is to the course you chose). So it is possible but not a given. If they don't accept then you will fail to get into that course and will be offered the second choice you made (if you have a second choice).
If not, then you can try to find an unfilled place after the results are out and apply for that through Clearing.
