might be a dumb question but i have old candles i wanna use because they're fruit-scented lol, but they have a lot of dust on them that's tricky to get off...

I seriously doubt some residual dust on a candle is going to cause a fireball, it’ll probably be singed out of existence without so much as a spark…

As dust at home is mainly made up of dead skin cells it's likely to be damp and not likely to burn. Obviously still be super careful though! :smile:
