Maths question
Please could someone tell me what this type of question is called so I can find some guidance and similar practice questions.
Here are two straight lines, ABCDE and PQ
In the diagrams all the lengths are in cm.
AE=2PQ
Find an expression, in terms of x, for the length of DE
Give your answer in its simplest form.
I’m sorry I cannot show the diagram but hopefully someone could paste a link to similar types of questions and explanation.
