Alevel resits

What are the logistics for resitting alevels. If achieve DDD in alevels would it be worth redoing them?

I got Cs last year for bio and chem and I am re-sitting them this year. A year is a long time and I have definitely improved. I don't know if I will achieve As but I can say that the one thing i regret doing is listening to people when they told me that it was "too late" to revise and that I would be stuck with my grade. I was averaging Bs in class and because of the pressure I didn't revise a single bit the month of my exams. I regret this because every day that you spend revising is a step closer and I truly do believe that doing certain things such as paying attention to mark scheme answers and actually UNDERSTANDING the content can go a long way in a short amount of time.
May I ask why you think you will get Ds?
Also, if I haven't said this yet it is definitely possible to go up a few grades if you re-sit.
