Bristol or Exeter (placement) for psychology?

I've had offers for both Bristol and Exeter University to study Psychology BSc this year, but am completely stuck on what to firm! Bristol is much closer to home and I like the city, but Exeter has a placement year which is quite a big factor for me.

For anyone who has any experience/knowledge on either, what are your opinions on psychology at these uni's/these uni's in general? Do you think not having a placement would be a disadvantage if I wanted to go into psychology after the degree (getting a job, MSc etc)?

If they can guarantee you a clinical placement then for aiming to become a clinical psychologist the placement year at Exeter is probably a lot more valuable.

If its not guaranteed and is student arranged (which I suspect it will be) then its a nice opportunity but you will be at the mercy of what opportunities are available when you get to the placement year. So do consider that and look into what the details for that placement are.
