The effect of an AS Grade

I’m doing my as levels currently and i’m pretty sure i flopped my physics, like a D or E. The other i think i should get predicted A* i’m dropping it, but i want to know if a very bad grade in it would affect an application to oxbridge/russell group universities, if my chosen course isn’t too related.
It will probably affect your predicted grade but that is something for your school. When you say AS is it a formal AS or an internal exam which is often classed by schools and students as AS. The actual AS tends to be only taken in Wales, Northern Ireland and internationally and is part of your overall grade. England went away from AS several years ago and most schools wont pay for AS papers due to cost.

If you are not taking this subject to A level (but still taking 3 other A levels?) then it shouldn't matter - lots of people drop a 4th subject after AS because they are are not enjoying it or they aren't doing that well. Unis will just ignore it.
