You are exposed to every virus and STD going. This man has set his stall out. He wants to shag anything he can find (with a pulse) He doesn't want that complicated by an emotional connection. You want an emotional connection - He doesn't. You have absolutely nothing to apologise for. His actions are clear and he has done you a favour by blocking you out. He will not change and you won't be the one who makes him.
Making poor choices in life equals months or a lifetime of self imposed misery. Leave this episode in the past. Walk away and take the positive that you have survived. Now give 100% to finding someone who is kind funny and generous who makes you laugh and will return all of your emotional outlay. Never lower that bar.
