This is the markscheme for Q8c. Could someone please explain where they got their values for the differentiation.

So apparently you are supposed to solve (a) by fitting a m=Ae^(-kt) model, with A and k to be found (instead of the GS method in your other post).
How to find them? Well, you know two pairs of (m,t) that works, now you just have two equations in two unknowns...

If you don't know how to find k, review logarithm.

See my response in your other post for this question. When you have the equation for m for substance A you just differentiate it to get their answer :smile:
