Hi there,

I presume you mean York, not New York :smile:

I can't offer opinions per se on specific private sector accommodation, but Amber Student is an online agency that has various accommodation providers on their website. They are reputable and can be trusted, but if in doubt you can use them to browse options, and then enquire/book directly with the accommodation provider.
