AQA English Language Paper 1 and 2

I know I probably sound really stupid asking this so close to the exam, but what do each of the English language AQA papers contain? like what is the layout for each of them? and what type of questions will I have to answer for them?

Paper 1 is explorations in creative reading and writing. Time allowed: 1 hour 45 minutes.

Questions

Reading (40 marks) (25%)– one single text

1 short form question (1 x 4 marks)
2 longer form questions (2 x 8 marks)
1 extended question (1 x 20 marks)
Writing (40 marks) (25%)

1 extended writing question (24 marks for content, 16 marks for technical accuracy)

Paper 2 is writer's viewpoints and perspectives. Time allowed is the same.

I should also mention Paper 1’s extract is typically one literature fiction. Paper 2 is one non-fiction text and one literary non-fiction text.

Two texts linked by topic or theme:
- A question requiring analysis of one text(25 marks)
- A question requiring analysis of a second text(25 marks)
- A question requiring comparison of the two texts(20 marks)

CHILD LANGUAGE IS ON THIS PAPER

Paper 2:
Language diversity and discourse
Section A:
- A discursive essay on language diversity with a choice of two questions(30 marks)
Section B:
- A directed writing task on attitudes to language(40 marks)
The difference between the comparison questions is on paper one it is based on the language used where as on paper two it is how the language is used in terms of context
Are the two papers always on similar topics? P1 was on animals is it likely p2 will be aswell?
