Special consideration
In the middle of question 4, the recording stopped working and it took 30 minutes for them to sort it out. The school have said that they will inform the exam board and that we will most likely be given special consideration for the disruption. What exactly does that entail?
I'm super sorry that happened to you! I can imagine how frustrating and stressful that must've been! Did they compensate the extra time for you? I think it depends on the exam board - according to AQA's website "In these cases, a small percentage is added to the raw mark. The percentage is determined by using the guidelines agreed by all the awarding bodies and published by JCQ."
Maybe ask your school's/college's exams officer what it would entail, I'm sure they'll help reassure you! Hope this helps!
