I don't make a-level notes, on purpose?

I'm in year 12 and I got so fed up of writing pages and pages I never use, so now I just make 1-page summaries or flashcards from the textbook instead of my old identical notes, and I still get A/A*s.

Just wondering if anyone else went through sixth form only summarising as I'm the only person I know who does that.
