Marine biology second degree

Hi,
I'm currently a qualified Nurse in intensive care but wanting to have a career change into marine biology. Just wondering if anyone has any information on any funding for second degrees in marine biology, ideally at Plymouth univeristy?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hey! I'm in a very similar boat to you. You can get funding (tuition fee & maintenance loan) if you study part-time. Full-time degrees aren't funded as we already have them. Every full-time course at The Open University will count you as a part-time student for some reason - although they don't do marine biology.
I have contacted a few uni's and a couple have gotten back to me about studying environmental science/environmental biology on a part-time basis, but i'm afraid I didn't ask about marine biology specifically. If you have any updates/info about this, i'm really interested in hearing whether you've found unis that accept part-time marine bio students!
I hope this helps!
