I’m wondering after graduation that I can get into dental hygiene and therapy?
Is there a short course for biomed graduates or will it HAVE to be another undergraduate degree because it’s kind of a complete career change

According to National Careers Service, you can generally do a foundation degree or diploma to get into dental hygiene and therapy:

These would be cheaper and quicker than a degree, but you will need to pay for them yourself as it's not considered one of the allied health professions: https://www.healthcareers.nhs.uk/career-planning/study-and-training/considering-or-university/financial-support-university
Apparently, according to the GDC's list of approved qualifications and universities, there's a graduate diploma for dental hygiene and therapy that you can take at Leeds, but I can't find it on the Leeds Uni website: https://www.gdc-uk.org/education-cpd/quality-assurance/recent-inspections/dental-therapy-and-dental-hygiene. Having said that, the list of the GDC's website might be out of date. A quick google search for dental hygiene and therapy qualifications shows there are a number of them available at a number of universities that's not listed on the GDC's website.
The graduate diploma is considered a higher degree than your bachelor's, so you would be eligible for student finance. However, if you can't find the course, then it's likely that it's been discontinued. You might want to check with Leeds Uni to see if it's still available.
