8 ÷ 2(2+2) = 16

BIDMAS

1. Brackets first: 2+2 = 4
So now we have 8 ÷ 2 x 4

2. Division and Multiplication rank equally, so we go left to right. 8 ÷ 2 = 4
So now we have 4 x 4

3. Then. 4 x 4 = 16
