My holiday keeps clashing with my colleagues?
Me and this other girl work closely together but everytime we add our holiday in the calendar the other says they’re away at the same time. This has happened 3 times now and it’s not like either of us have given each other short notice. In all fairness, when I put mine in for next Feb, she hadn’t put it in the diary so I wasn’t to know. But she’s been there 4 years and me for a year so I just feel like our manager will automatically assume it’s my fault.
Similarly I had put my holiday in august ( back in Feb) and she knew that but clashed here over by like 4 days. ( again I’m not annoyed but I worry my manager will just assume it’s my being incompetent)
It’s pure coincidence! Both our holidays have been booked and non - changeable so it’s not like we can change it. I said I’m happy to take my laptop abroad but still my place of work is quite *****y and I just fear that I’ll look like the bad guy here.
