P.hd scholarship
Hi. I am about to finish my M.Sc in molecular microbiology in the UK. My supervisor offered me P.hd. I am looking for any possible scholarships or grants that I can acquire.
Usually UK students are funded by the research council - for biosciences this would be the BBSRC. I would recommend discussing with your supervisor whether your PhD project may be eligible for BBSRC funding and exploring that option if so.

Check your university website & speak to your supervisor.
Your uni probably has a pool of funding they consider applications for on a rolling basis. Also check research council’s & major funders within your field.
