Hi was just wondering, if I’m predicted say ABB for my UCAS predictions and a university requires AAA could and should i still apply for the university? Thanks!

Yes, you can apply, but you may well not get an offer, and if you do, it's going to be AAA unless you hit specific widening participation metrics. That said, one risky target in a batch of application where others are likely or very likely offers is fine, you want a balance of risk.

Its risky - and it depends greatly on the degree subject and which Uni. Just remember that teacher's predicted grades are always optimistic / kind - and that having an offer of AAA which you realise that you wont meet in August is a bit pointless.

The usual advice re. your 5 UCAS choices is :
1 or 2 risky choices (usually 1 grade above your predicted grades and not in a vital subject)
2 or 3 at your predicted grades
1 below your predicted grades
