When do you tell SFE you’re withdrawing from your course?

I have told the uni im leaving but haven’t completed the withdrawal forms yet.

Should I inform SFE before or after I complete the withdrawal forms?

Hi there,

When you withdraw, we will require a Change of Circumstances from your university to confirm the date you last attended your course. It would be best to double check that the university send this through to us electronically on our shared system. Once this is received and processed our assessors will recalculate your entitlement for the length of time you attended the course which may lead to an overpayment which will be removed from your future entitlement if you return to study, or you can set up an agreeable payment plan with our collections team.
