Library volunteer form help

I was going to volunteer at my local library after a friend convinced me, who is also doing it. I am 15, and I read the requirements and the form to sign up or express an interest. It says I need a reference from outside of my family, which is not easy but not too bad, but then it says I need a reference from school (the head teacher, or just a teacher) I need their contact information, and when my friend did it the library had to call them etc etc. Since it is the summer holiday, I can’t contact them, but I want to volunteer during summer while I have nothing to do. How do I get around this :frown:

I don’t have any teachers I know well enough as well, because I hate talking to teachers and it’s super awkward, so even if I sent them an email it would be so random. Plus, I’m pretty sure they won’t check their school emails…

Do your teachers write stuff about you in your reports?? you could explain the situation to the library and ask if they'd take one of those instead...
