Collecting A-Level results late in the day?

I'm an external candidate taking an extra A-Level. I was intending not to go to results day (honestly because i was scared of the embarrassment of going into my school and the staff being like ?? what are you doing here random stranger) but turns out the email notifying me to come in was sent to my old school email. I never thought to check that email- as I am no longer a student I assumed no further communications would be sent there- honestly I thought it was deleted by now. Anyway I won't be able to get in until around 12-ish? I was wondering if anyone else has ever collected their results that late and if it's still possible?
