Newcastle Portland Green

Hi I've got a place at Newcastle this year in Portland Green; I know around November different accommodation open when people drop out of them though - is Portland Green nice or kind of gross?

my sister was in portland green and loved it, the building is really nice and modern and it is a good amount of socialising because everyone walks into town together, the only negative part is that the walk into the city centre or university is slightly longer and probsbly shouldn’t be done on your own, but this means you make more frienfs in your accommodation as you all walk together. But it is really nice i wouldnt worry about it!
