Can't get a flat
Some background info:My girlfriend and I are looking to move in to a flat in Brighton. Our current tenancy ends on the 3rd of September, and I'm going in to my third year at Sussex in september. My girlfriend is on a 13 month contract for a paid full time apprenticeship, and I'm currently working an internship that ends in October. Because of this we both need to have somewhere to stay in Brighton ASAP. Despite having a garuntor and earning enough to pay rent, every single flat we have applied for we have either been denied for or lost to someone else making an offer. It's getting really stressful because if we can't move in somewhere within the next few weeks it's going to screw up both of our jobs and my third year. We have no friends we can flat share with, and most public flat shares don't accept couples. Wtf should we do?
