University choices

I want to study an Msc Economics and finance and I am left to choose one of the three universities.
University of Loughborough
University of Exeter
University of Bath

Which offers greater value?
Thanks
Hi!
If you’re looking for a competitive masters degree, Exeter was awarded Business School of the year for 2022 by the Times. This means that in Economics and Finance we’re ranked very highly for our facilities as well as career prospects, which is great if you’re interested in pursuing a career in the field.

In terms of deciding which university is right for you, I’d definitely recommend visiting on Open Days if you can. Getting a feel for the campus and the city was key when I came to choose Exeter.

All the universities you are considering are well-regarded, so I’d recommend choosing which uni you think you will enjoy the most. Having a look at the available modules, the cities in which they are based, the campuses and opportunities for socialising might help with this. For example, having a look at the Exeter Guild website can show you what societies we have that you could get involved with - seeing student clubs that I wanted to join helped me make my uni decision.

Only you can decide which uni is right for you - good luck with whichever decision you come to feel free to ask me any more questions about Exeter!

Hi @Cruise gal,

Great to hear from you! Fantastic to hear you're interested in studying at Loughborough as well.

I just wanted to say that I would recommend reviewing all the course pages and the information that they offer to see if one course attracts you more than another. You can also review student stories and see what other students are saying about their experience of studying at the universities.

My other piece of advice would be to think about the value offered in terms of the social experience and explore the societies or other social opportunities offered.

Have you also thought about location? I would consider this as the universities are in very different places in the UK and one location may suit your needs over another.

Finally, I would consider the careers support available to students too. As you've said 'value', I think this would be a good idea to review.

If you've not yet visited Loughborough, you can do so by attending an open day or watching our tour of Loughborough.

I hope this helps! At the end of the day, I would choose the university I could see myself being most happy at
