I'm studying psychology with education at middlesex and I was wondering if the placement year is included in the 3 year course or if it will be after the degree. I am planning to do a pgce after the psychology degree

Is it worth doing the placement year?
"Work placements You can take an expenses-based work placement during your studies as a year-long assignment between year two and three. Depending on the organisation you are on placement with, you may be entitled to apply for a maintenance grant. And you won't have to pay tuition fees for that year." (source)
This obviously turns the three-year course into a four-year course.
As to whether it's worth doing or not, that would depend on the quality and relevance of the placement.
