Bank details problem

My bank details have changed over the summer due to a fraud risk. However when coming to change my details on my student finance account I can't unless I have my old card. I don't have my old card as the bank told me to destroy it. What do I do now?

(Tried ringing but it's impossible to get to speak to anyone right now)

Hi there, We would require you to call us we are unable to assist with Bank Details via this platform. We will ask you to confirm the sort code and account number from the previous details we did hold for you. If it is the card details that have changed only this will be ok. Thanks, Angela
