Taking maternity leave from a mental health nursing degree (second year)

Hi, I’m taking a second degree in mental health nursing and I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant. I’m going to leave just into the beginning of my second year. Apparently I get 60 days funding with SFE and the LSF can be awarded as a maternity payment. Is this true? Is this affected my the fact I have another degree?

Hi there,

It wouldn't be affected by your previous degree but we would need the university to notify us via a 'change of circumstance' and advising it's a health suspension to be eligible for this. Thanks, Jason
