Do the papers get easier As-levels

I was doing a 2018 past paper for as chemistry, comparing this to the 2021/22 papers the 2018 paper was significantly harder. Are the older papers more difficult in comparison to now?

No not necessarily. The reason why specifically 2021/22 is easier is because the students still got special consideration which meant in some topics in chemistry were not assessed during the exam whereas in 2018 the students were assessed on everything normally. Hope that helps
