I wouldn't take level 2 FMaths - use the time to raise your grades in other subjects.

I would, but the only problem is that my school will drop us down a set if we don't take further maths.

ok so thinking about further maths I made a table comparing the benefits and drawbacks of doing it and there are more negatives so I might not take it. honestly I don't even mind dropping sets as the teachers in set 2 are way better than set 1. I just need to know my parents opinions.

What does that matter at this stage? Your grades need to be higher in some subjects - this is how I would 'sell' it to your parents.

so according to my timetable I was supposed to do 4 subjects today but ended up doing 3, which isn't bad and I don't feel like I overworked myself so that's a good thing. I will post my reasoning behind this timetable tomorrow.
once again I only managed to revise three subjects but I'm sure slowly I can get that up to 4
so we've done 3 test so far - chemistry, maths and German

in maths i got 23/25
and in German (which was a translation) I got 11/12

I think this sets me off to a strong start to the year
so today I felt very tired because I came home an hour later than I usually do so I couldn't get a lot of work done. I'll try to wake up early tomorrow and study before school.

3 pages of food tech are very long - took me over 1 hour and I kept losing concentration.
doing cgp book for ict is kinda pointless, I should rather use that time to focus on coding and learning the coding concepts.

This is great, well done! You're right, you're definitely off to a really good start. When will you get your chemistry result?
oh I did get it back... got 29/30 in it

and we did another German paper (listening and reading) - 42/50
since I want to get into medicine, I have been researching possible work experience opportunities I could get into from home. here is a list of things I found:

https://medicmentor.co.uk/

speakers for school work experience

As well as these, I will also volunteer in a care home near my house. I have also applied to be a NHS cadet, but the sessions haven't started yet so no clue what its going to involve.

This is exciting! It sounds like you're really focused and have a lot planned. Well done on your test result as well!
I have a day off tomorrow so I'm going to revise:
- German vocab
- physics (because we don't have a teacher rn)
- maths (I have a test on Friday)
- biology (I have a test)
Ty, I am planning to do these in the summer holidays after GCSEs are done. I'm also thinking about getting a job (there are multiple tuition centres in my town)
so I did another German test, but I didn't do that good

I got 20/32 (it was the 150 word task)

to improve, I'm going to use the sentence builders and write myself model paragraphs to refer to when revising
