I'm a bit overwhelmed by how much maths there is in a BA Econ degree

For context, I do a double degree with Politics and BA Econ and its a 50/50 split and while BA typically means 'less quantitative and more qualitative' there has been more math than I have ever expected and I don't know how to feel progressing throughout the terms...I was really good at A-Level Econ but now this is a whole lot harder...I'm not giving up tho...I just wanted to rant about how difficult an Economics degree really is.
When looking with my son we found that there was less maths in BA courses than there was in BSc. All of them needed a minimum of a 4 at GCSE, some courses wanted a 5 or 6. The less the course was pure economics, the lower the maths grade. He did well enough at A Level Economics and is in his first year. The Uni provide extra help on the Stats side of things if you need it. Maybe there's some extra help out these if you ask your tutor?
