Language A level

Hi I'm doing french a levels outside of school and I am in Yr 12, should I book for the AS level exam or not or only for the A level one
If I book for the A level one what date do I have to do it by. Like do I book it in Yr 12 for Yr 13 or do I book it at the beginning of Yr 13?

As you long as you know the content for the exam first.
Do the A-Level exam so you get that extra a-level with you.
You can do it whenever since you are saying you are doing it outside of school.
If you know everything and ready for the exam do it year 12 if not than year13
