Is it worth bringing my car to Bath Uni? like whats transport like
https://www.bath.ac.uk/corporate-information/students-eligible-for-parking-permits/ "Students living in University accommodation - If you are an undergraduate or postgraduate student and live in University accommodation, on or off campus, you are not permitted to park a motor vehicle - on University property or on public roads within the city of Bath boundaries"
Indeed, we can't allow students living in our accom to park on campus. However that being said, the bus service from campus to town is pretty good, and there are discounted prices for term-by-term tickets tied to the Bath semester dates - see details here. There is also a bus station and train station right next to each other in town, where you can get a bus to Bristol every 15 minutes for £4 return . I know its frustrating not being able to have a car, but there are still ways to get around it, and plus in the long run using public transport is likely to save money versus refuelling and maintaining a car.
