Geography NEA plagarism

I did my nea for geography last year and did well in it, so i let my friend a year younger than me have a copy of it. She's word for word copied a lot of the content and has just changed the title slightly to her area. Do our NEAs get scanned when you submit them and will we both get in trouble?
