EPQ or AS Politics?

I am currently picking my A-Level options and I am currently thinking of picking English Lit, German and I'm not sure for my 3rd option. I am also unsure of what I would like to do in the future, however I have seen uni courses on International Relations/Politics with a modern language (German for me). For enrichment, would it be better to do an EPQ as this can reduce required grades or AS Politics as this is related to the course I am interested in? What would be best for uni?
