if i apply to an integrated masters course with the entry requirements of A*AA/AAAA and dont get the grades (e.g AAA) can I go through clearing for the same university and apply to a same course but a bachelors (entry requirements of AAA) instead?

Most universities will accept firm applicants who miss their offer conditions slightly. In some cases they will change the offer to a course with lower requirements automatically.

You wouldn’t need to use clearing in that situation.

There’s no need to guess or rely on hearsay.
Pick up the phone on Monday and ask them directly.

Universities often explain this at offer holder days. It’s not a secret if they do this but you usually have to ask.
