With a 3 Year BEng and 18 years of Engineering Work Experience, How do I become CEng

I hope this message finds everyone well. I am reaching out seeking guidance and advice on advancing towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, given my academic background and career experience.

I hold a 3-year UK BEng degree in Electrical Engineering, which unfortunately wasn't accredited at that time. However, I've accumulated extensive engineering work experience over the past 18 years, contributing significantly to my professional development.

Recognizing the importance of achieving CEng status for both career progression and personal development, I've recently secured admission into an MSc program in Electrical Engineering at a UK University. This MSc program is marked as having a status of "Partial CEng (Further Learning)."

As I am not from the UK, I am seeking comprehensive advice and guidance on how best to navigate this situation to work towards achieving CEng status. Given my circumstances and the information provided above:

What additional steps, beyond my current academic pursuit of the Partial CEng MSc, might I need to take to fulfill the requirements for CEng accreditation?

How can I leverage my extensive engineering work experience of 18 years towards meeting the criteria for CEng?

Are there specific professional development programs, courses, or certifications I should consider alongside my academic pursuits to strengthen my eligibility for CEng?

Considering my non-UK background and academic history, what are the specific pathways or processes I should follow to ensure I am on track to achieve CEng status?

Are there any bridging programs, assessments, or examinations available that could assist in aligning my academic qualifications and work experience with the criteria for CEng?

What role do professional engineering institutions play in evaluating qualifications and experience from non-UK backgrounds for CEng accreditation?

I am highly motivated to fulfill the requirements for Chartered Engineer status and would greatly appreciate any comprehensive guidance or recommendations you can provide. Your expertise and advice in this matter would be invaluable in helping me navigate this journey effectively.

Thank you sincerely for your time and consideration. I eagerly await your advice and recommendations.

Meant to reply to this earlier. The best course of action would be to discuss this directly with the institute you want to become chartered by, as different institutes may have slightly different pathways for experienced applicants without an accredited masters level degree. As you're electrical you'd probably be going through the IET?
