Should I drop EPQ?

I missed the first 6 lessons so I have no idea how it works. I'm about 30 hours behind but my teacher says it's still possible - will it be worth it in the long run? Or should I drop it and focus on my core subjects instead? I'm conflicted because I don't know whether I'd regret it in the long run. thanks

personally, i loved doing my epq. if you find a topic you're interested in, then i'm sure you'll enjoy it a lot and will not regret doing it.
now, if you struggle with organisation + you're behind, unless you catch up, then you won't enjoy it. it's a lot of commitment, and it's judged quite harshly. it would be saddening if you get a poor mark because you didn't dedicate enough time to it.
so basically, only do epq if you want to do it - don't do it for uni prospects because only 1 of my university options even look at it!
