I got a capped grade of 43% in second year worth 25% and now in my final year worth 75%. I wanted to know how much I'd have to get in final year for my grade to average out to a 2:2 maybe a 2:1 if I was pushing it

I've also been getting mid 50% in my first assignments this year and got let down with a 40% in one assignment due to me struggling with deadlines. So I'm working at a 2:2 in my final year but will my 43% in second year bring my overall grade down by a lot despite it being worth only 25% ?
is a 2.1 60% at ur uni? here is the sum to do if so: (0.25x 43) + (0.75 x needed final year grade) = 60 then rearrange for your needed final year grade so its: needed final year grade = 60- ((0.25x43)/0.75) = 66 so you need 66 percent this year for 60 overall (a 2.1) or 52 this year to get 50 overall. good luck!

You need to average 52.333 in your final year to achieve 50 overall. Check your degree regulations though because most unis have methods of upgrading near misses, eg if you get 49.x.
A 2:1 is 60-69% and a 2:2 is 50-59% I go to Aston uni and they do the upgrading near misses by .5% I am just a bit scared for my grade because I was working in the higher 2:2 lower 2:1 margin but my 40% in one assignment might bring me down.
