Council tax policy for disabled full-time students with live-in carers
Hi, I'm a disabled full-time student and I have a live-in carer. My carer was disregarded for the council tax, and now as a full-time student I should be disregarded too. But the council have told me that it is only 25% discount each for both of us, so I will still have to pay 50% council tax, despite us both being exempt. Does anyone know if this is right? I just don't understand how this would make sense. Ps this is in North East Lincolnshire.
