My skin gets rlly dry with most skin products I use, why?what should I do to help it?

I don’t know why but even the simple moisturiser, (which is for sensitive skin) dries out my skin, it’s always around my chin and cheek area, and also close to my eye. I decided to use some e45 but even that made my skin dry..
Could you please give me some tips and recommendations? Also, is this happening to anyone else?
Thanks

Do you drink enough water and have fruits? This could be one of the reasons why your skin is reacting this way. Or maybe your body is deficient in some sort of vitamins. If that's the case, see a dermatologist.

Is your skin dry all year round or just now? If its now the weather can be part of it as my skin has got very dry lately with the cold weather and I have combination skin

Sameeeee no matter if I use products for oily skin or dry skin or sensitive skin, most products dry my skin out so badly (I have combination skin). And then moisturisers just make my face oily (even gel ones) its like moisturisers just sit on my face and doesn't absorb.... I have to use a specific suncream to 'moisturise' my skin (to prevent it from getting dry) and also to prevent my skin from getting oily.
It's been 8 years and I still can't find face products suited for my skin

Yhh that’s literally the definition of what’s happening with my skin
Literally any product makes it go dry
Like the creams don’t even help either and like if I go on the review everyone says oh this product is so good and I buy it and it just drys my skin out
And yeah now that I think abt it the moisturiser just sits on my skin and makes it look oily like I’ve put vaseline on or something

The issue may not be with the moisturiser you are using but perhaps the rest of your routine and/or other products that you are using.

If it's bothering you this much, speak to your GP.

Have you tried emollients specifically for dry skin like cetraben, cerave, or cetaphil?

Omg I hate cetraben it stings my skin smmmmm
I wanted to get some cleanser from cerave but the cleanser I’m using at the moment isn’t making my skin dry and stuff
I went to the doctors and they prescribed me some cream thing and it just stayed all dry
Literally anything other than cleanser dries out near my eyes and stuff and I can’t even use any products like eye cream either
Also idk why but there’s like some dark bit at the corner of my eye and it all wrinkled a bit and I’m literally a teenager like bro why is there crinkled stuff at the corner of my eye

Maybe the simple moisturizer just isn't good enough. My skin is on the dry side too and there have been many moisturizers that i've used where it feels hydrating at first but then a couple of hours, my skin feels like leather. I have no experience with E45 but i have been using a moisturizer called illiyoon ceramide concentrate cream. Thats literally been my holy grail, my skin still feels hydrated even when i wake up.
Of course idk if your dry skin is a massive issue and requires smt more serious but as someone with dry, acne prone skin with slightly sensitive skin - i have set to see and use a moisturizer than is better than illiyoon. hope this helps
