Free excel/microsoft courses

Hi,
Does anyone know any free courses/companies/websites that offer courses to upskill technical skills like Excel or any other microsoft software? I'm planning to take internships and placement years but I'm super limited in budget as a low income student but really want to change from beginner to proficient/intermediate for any of these skills, just dont know where to look!
My university does offer courses but they've closed applications for this year so I wanna see what other free resources are available.

Thanks in advance

Hey there,

I would suggest to refer to good old youtube to watch some decent courses. I would personally recommend these sources:

You can also refer to Microsoft's official free video trainings here:

Let me know if you have any questions,

As above, youtube really will have just about anything you need or want for excel (and most office software). Lots of older forums and such might have good repositories of information too!

No need to do a formal course - putting said course on your CV isn't likely to do anything more than listing "advanced proficiency with excel" after just practicing by yourself in most cases.

Hello,
I agree with the replies above that YouTube is a great option. Furthermore, there are some good free courses available on websites such as Udemy/Coursera/eDX, if you prefer some structure to your learning.
I would also recommend checking out Excel Easy (https://www.excel-easy.com) - it has a bunch of picture easy to follow guides on many features of Excel. Very helpful if you are looking to learn a few specific skills or if you just need a reference/guide.
Here is another quite handy resource: https://chandoo.org/wp/welcome/ - has Excel tutorials/help for a range of levels.

Hope this helps!
