Claiming Benefits and Studying
I currently live in a rented flat and claim Universal Credit with the incapacity to work element; housing benefit, and PIP. I want to study a full-time degree at university in a different UK city, where I will live in student accommodation and take out a student loan and tuition fee loan. Would I still be able to keep my Universal Credit, housing benefit, PIP, and the flat whilst living and studying full-time at university in another UK city?
Hi there. Being entitled to student finance can affect some types of benefits, however you would need to speak to the benefits office regarding how/if it would affect them. Thanks, Leah.
