Hello!
I am a deaf student who gets DSA and can hopefully offer some support. When claiming DSA you usually have an assessment where you talk through everything you struggle with and what you could get that would make university life easier. Having a carer is something you could bring up during this assessment but also with the university. Claiming for PIP as I saw someone said below would also be a good way to pay for this.
