Architecture in Bath or AA school of architecture

Hello everyone! I have offers from Bath, Cardiff and Manchester Universities for BSc Architecture for September 2024 intake. I also got an offer for foundation course in AA school of architecture in London.
Really confused to make a choice. Could anybody help with some pros and cons as you see them..
Our pros could be your cons.

What do you think are the pros and cons of each?

What are your priorities? What sort of city/environment do you think you will thrive in?

Omg you've got an offer from Bath already!?!? I applied to the same course and they've barely said anything to me haha. I can't really comment on Cardiff or your foundation course but this is what I think about Manchester and Bath:

Manchester

Really lively city - it's very diverse and there's lots to do

It's split between MMU and UoM meaning you get a more facilities than usual

Performs really well in world architecture rankings

Decent living & accommodation costs as it's more Northern

Guaranteed accommodation for all years whilst studying

Bath

arguably a nicer looking city, although it's smaller than Manchester

Has integrated placements in their course, allowing for more experience in the industry

It's a campus uni - not necessarily a positive or negative but it might not be what you're looking for

The campus is on a big hill - although they have buses up and down it's another cost to worry about

Accommodation is only for 1st year

Living & maintenance costs are more expensive than Manchester

As I said I don't know a lot about your other two unis but it's worth considering that living in London will be very costly and that foundation courses will take longer and will cost more in terms of student loans.

Are you sure about the guarantee of accommodation for Manchester? Manchester has been in the press in recent years due to a shortage of student accommodation. Some students were offered rooms in halls in Liverpool.

Oh really?? On their website they mention an accomodation guarantee for "new, full-time undergraduate students". Their wording is a bit ambiguous so I interpreted that as 'accomodation is guaranteed for students who have never been to any university' - this might have been wrong, if so that's my bad 😭

I hadn't heard of this issue at Manchester before, thanks for sharing!! Me and OP might have to take this into account when deciding
