Engineering work experience & lack of flexibility

Trying to find Work Experience for a high-achieving Year 10 student within Engineering or Engineering Design. Student is attending an Engineering focused technical college with a fixed week of 3-7 June 2024.

There's a few opportunities out there, maybe more with companies who don't advertise work experience, but they are more difficult to find.

However, everywhere we've looked so far has set dates outside of the specific week we have available. We don't want to resort to a non-Engineering work experience, but the difficulty here is frustrating!

As it's a "must-do" within the relevant key-stages, I'd expect the government could easily manage a website with any companies offering work-experience posting the details on there...
