Returning Nursing student

Hi!
I am a returning Nursing student trying to write my personal statement. I started uni in 2016 and passed everything. I dropped out year 3 semester 2 l, should I include this into my personal statement and give reasons for this?
Thanks!
Hi @Rachelemmad96

It is so great to hear that you are returning to university!

Honestly, every personal statement is unique. If you think that your previous time at university and how it ended was significant to your development as a person and nurse, then yes, write about it. Just be careful it doesn't sound like you're trying to make excuses or anything like that. The main reason for a personal statement is to showcase your journey/experiences and what skills you have gained from those two things that would be helpful in whatever degree/career you're applying for.

Also, remember you will have the opportunity to talk about your personal statement in more detail when you get an interview!

Good luck:smile:
