Teach me Japaneese?

Hi,

sorry this is so odd but I want to learn Japanese so I can understand the language when like watching anime or listening to podcasts, interviews ext. Also I think it is a really cool langugage and so if people could help me then it would be much appreciated. There is no real reason but I thought if there is any Japanese people on here they could teach me the basic basics. I know some but defiantly not enough to look away from the screen for more than 10seconds.

Download Anki and the Core 2k/6k deck and then grind that out. Tae Kims grammar guide is a very helpful and free resource.

This method is pretty efficient and is also entirely free - but can be quite boring at times.
