My best friend keeps mentioning my ex

My ex and I, we've been broken up for 6 months now and my best friend still won't drop it, she'll mention my ex at every chance she gets its crazy. I haven't said anything to her because she's the type to cry at the drop of a hat and become really depressed when I address a situation I'm not comfortable with. It annoys me alot because I've moved on yet it seems as if she's still stuck on it, it's annoying because it slows down my healing process everytime she deliberately mentions him, knowing how much our breakup hurt me.

If this girl is really your best friend she'd be supporting you through the break-up.

Either tell her to keep quiet about it, say you'll be avoiding her until you feel better or ditch her. With friends like that etc...

She's probably raising it to see how you feel? 6 months is still very fresh and many people would still want to talk about it, however like you say, you may approach healing in your own way (and just say you find it hard to talk about and to avoid).
